In the area from km 58,6 to km 59,7 of the A14 Rheintal- / Walgau motorway, the interchange Bludenz – Bürs was rebuilt. The renovation consists of the demolition of existing structures as well as the renovation of four overpasses over the A14 and several support walls, ramps and water protection facilities. 3G was hired for several geotech-nical engineering services from the beginning of the tender planning phase. The services included the inspection of the tender planning including the geotechnical assumptions for the static calculations as well as the geotechnically relevant points of the tender and the geotechnical support for the constructionphase. During the construction, additional ground-static calculations of temporary construction as pit securities were carried out by 3G.
